A Quiz/ Case Study on Honesty/ Lateral Thinking

The answer / judgement given to the Quiz/ Case Study on Honesty / Lateral Thinking was:
The driver of the car coming from behind in the adjacent lane was found to be driving the car at a speed higher than the permissible speed at that place and hence he was fined. The taxi was driven well within the permissible speed and the attempt to get down from the car was not considered as an offence warranting any punishment and so, the Shah couple were told that they did not do any offence. But, the judge reprimanded Mr Shah that his suggestive efforts to influence the police officer was a shameful act knowing fully well the stringent provisions of Singapore for such acts. Being a Tourist and as the country respects Tourists, the judge let them go with a strong warning to refrain from doing such mean acts in future.

Moral of the story:
Indians should know that corrupting people and the system is possible only in an India environment.
